Chubby Squirrel opened in 2018 as Fairfax City's first brewery. We are independent, owner-operated, and intentionally small enough that the brewhouse is part of the room—not a story happening somewhere else. The beer in your glass was brewed here in Fairfax.
We make beer for beer drinkers, cook food meant to go with it, and run the kind of neighborhood brewpub we want to visit ourselves. Small batches, changing taps, weekly specials, familiar faces, and the grit and steam of a working Fairfax brewery. Pull up a stool.
